Creating considerate Web Applications

How do we make Drupal more user-friendly? How can fine tuned interaction design and copywriting influence the adoption of Drupal? Working on the usability of a web application requires a different set of tools and understanding than the usability of a website. In this session we will talk about what major usability issues Drupal is facing and how to work on fixing them.

What can we learn from successful web applications? Because you can’t talk about usability without actually talking about user testing we will introduce the Usability Testing Suite that has been developed as part of a Google Summer of Code Project. It will allow you to test your module more easily and more frequently with real users without having to go through traditional usability practices.

I will be co-presenting with Bojhan. Neither of us will be able to attend the DrupalCamp so this would need to be a remote session.

I have a headset for mic, but I don't have a webcam.
