BOF: DrupalCampColoarado and DrupalCon Colorado Organization

Organizing this DrupalCamp has been an interesting process that has taught us quite a bit about the demand for Drupal events in addition to the process of making one happen. We try our best to make everyone happy but invariably can not cover every contingency. http://groups.drupal.org/node/12720#comment-43598 has presented the beginnings of a constructive conversation related to making future events the best they can be.

We would like to continue the conversation at the DrupalCamp in a BOF and invite you to attend. In fact, we would like to start organizing next years event as soon as possible so that we can make it as smooth as it can be. Do we need a non-profit organization for these? Should we propose DrupalCon Colorado for 2009? So many questions that are begging your feedback.

Colorado Springs

In addition to Matt S and I talking at the Boulder meet-up this week, at the inaugural Colorado Springs meet-up yesterday I talked briefly about the nonprofit ideas to feel out any interest from that area. It looks like some has already sprouted (thanks Matt T).
